Adam and Maria are Pakistani Christians. When they married, Maria’s jealous boss falsely claimed that he had married Maria, and accused them of adultery. They were prosecuted and thrown in jail. For years, they fought an expensive legal battle to vindicate themselves, but with no hope in sight, they escaped to Thailand with their young daughter, Sara.
