Life Raft International works with urban refugees living in Bangkok, Thailand.
These people have managed to escape persecution in their homelands, but still struggle to survive in Thailand. They are forbidden from working, don’t speak Thai, and are incredibly isolated.
After a month of living in Thailand, entire refugee families can be arrested and crammed into cages at the filthy International Detention Center.
The foundation of our work is our advocacy program, which connects people in Bangkok with refugees. These advocates guide our organization to best meet refugees’ needs. They also send updates on refugees’ needs and statuses to supporters outside of Bangkok.
Supporting a Family
People who live outside Bangkok can also help! $10 a month will pay for two weeks of food for one child. We are especially encouraging people to come together in teams to dramatically increase their impact. $100 will feed a family for an entire month!
We invite you to make some new neighbors, change lives, and stand with us as we help our friends survive and live better lives.
